Ghanaian coach Maxwell Konadu has touched down in South Africa, edging closer to a three-year deal with Premier Soccer League side, Black Leopards.
The 54-year-old tactician was released by Nsoatreman FC after leading them to the Ghana FA Cup title and a fourth-place finish in the Premier League.
According to reports, Konadu has been in talks with Black Leopards since March, but the deal was delayed due to his commitment to Nsoatreman’s FA Cup campaign.
The club’s owner and Konadu met last week to finalize the agreement, which will see him leave Nsoatreman after a successful two-year stint.
Konadu’s impressive record at Nsoatreman FC has attracted interest from several clubs, including Black Leopards.
He is expected to sign a three-year contract with the South African club, bringing his coaching expertise to the Premier Soccer League.
