Exclusive: Ghanaian Dutch born international Edwin Gyasi arrives in UK to sign premiership deal

The Dutch- Ghanaian born international Edwin Gyasi has arrived in England to sign a deal with an unknown premiership club sportsworldghana.com exclusively reveals.

The attacking midfielder who plays for Aalesund FK in the Norwegian Tippeligaen traveled from Holland to UK on Tuesday to surprisingly complete the said move.

edwin-gyasiGyasi, a senior brother of Emmen FC winger Raymond Gyasi joined Aalesund FK from Roda JC last season where he played 28 matches scoring eight [8] goals.

“Based on the style and the club’s values, Edwin is a quality signing both on and outside the field. He is fast, explosive and has good dribble skills. In addition, he has an eye for goal” Aalesunds FK manager Trond Fredriksen told the club’s website after his capture..

“He will complement our effort and we are looking forward to the first home match against Stabæk on March 11.”

Gyasi had Nacer Chadli for competition on the left wing at Twente, before the Belgium international joined Tottenham Hotspur for £7million.

The attacker previously played for Telstar, De Graafschap, FC Twente and Heracles Almelo before joining Roda JC two season ago in the summer transfer.
