Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Terry Lartey Sanniez has completed a transfer move to Slovenian side NK Celje in the final day of the Summer transfer window, SportsworldGhana.com can confirm.
The 25-year-old right-back has signed a two-year contract with the club and will join his new teammates at Rogla this week.
The former member of the Ajax Youth Academy has eleven appearances in the Champions Youth League and benchmarks with Barcelona, Milan, PSG and other top teams in Europe.
Last season, Lartey played for Nijmegen as they make it to the playoffs for the Eredivisie, and in the Dutch second division, he made 128 appearances for the NEC and Ajax’s young team.
Although his primary position is a right-back, Sanniez is also excellent on the left side of the defensive line, and he is no stranger to the heart of the defense.
The talented defender has made 23 appearances in totality for the Dutch 15 to the U21.
