German-born Ghanaian versatile defender, Daniel Heber has extended his contract with Regionalliga West side Rot-Weiss Essen.
The 27-year-old center-back has signed a new four-year deal with the Red and Whites despite numerous interest from Bundesliga 2 teams.

After the 2020-21 season, Eintracht Braunschweig, St. Pauli and SV Wehen all showed interest in signing the defender before extending his stay at the German fourth tier.
Heber has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the club till 2025 summer.
Last season, Heber scored five goalsaand provided one assist as a center-back for RW Essen in 43 games in all competition.
