Ghanaian-born Daniel Kofi Kyereh is set to stay for another season in the Bundesliga 2 with his team FC St. Pauli, Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm.
The 25-year-old striker has made his intentions about staying at the clear in an exclusive meeting with the coach, Timo Schultz.
The Ghanaian forward intensified training with the Kiezkicker team following the departure of Rodrigo Zalazar, 21, who returns to Eintracht Frankfurt after his loan spell.
Most recently, persistent rumors of change about Daniel-Kofi Kyereh who’s contract runs until 2023 had made the rounds in the German newspapers but the Ghanaian wants to continue playing at Pauli and take on even more responsibility.
Kyereh scored nine goals and provided nine assists for St Pauli in the 2020-21 Germany Bundesliga 2 campaign and is keen to play as the target man for the club in the coming season to help Brown and Whites outfit.
Newly promoted Bundesliga side VFL Bochum were keen to sign the versatile forward but the Ghanaian is set to stay in the Bundesliga 2 after revealing his intentions to remain at St Pauli at the end of the transfer window this summer.
