Blackpool Football Club have confirmed the signing Ghanaian youngster, Josh Nyame ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
Josh becomes the second Ghanaian teenager to join the club this summer after securing the services of Kwaku Donkor from Onside Football Academy.
The club confirmed the signing of the player on their social media platform welcoming him ahead of the commencement of the new season.
“We are delighted to announce that Josh Nyame has signed a scholarship with the Club,” the statement on the platform read.
“Josh signs after spending six years at Crystal Palace. He also featured against Bolton Wanderers in our final game of last season.
“Congratulations, Josh!”
Josh Nyame, who joins the club after a short stint with Crystal Palace also said:
“It’s a proud moment for me and my family – I’ve come a long way, I’ve put the hard work in, and we are where we are now.
“The final game of last season was a good battle, and I grew into the game well, so I’m looking forward to the upcoming season.”
Just like Kwaku Donkor, Josh will hope his time the club’s academy will propel him to greater heights in the next few years.
