Exclusive: Gyau extends FC Cincinnati stay

American winger of Ghanaian descent Joseph-Claude Gyau has signed a new contract with MLS outfit FC Cicinnati.

Gyau, 28, appended a his signature to a new one-year deal with the “Orange and Blue” on Tuesday as his initial contract was expected to end this month.

The talented left-winger made nineteen league appearances and scored one goal for the Ohio-based club this ended season as they finished 14th in the Eastern Conference.

Gyau who is the grandson of Ghana legend Nana Agyeman Gyau previously played for clubs including TSG Hoffenheim and Borussia Dortmund.
