Former Ghana Premier League goal king Ahmed Toure has expressed excitement after swerving both Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko to sign a two-year deal with Ivorian giants Asec Mimosas.

The former Asante Kotoko Goal poacher on Tuesday penned down a two- year deal with the the Abidjan based side who will be competing in next season’s CAF Champions League.
Speaking exclusively to Ghana’s reliable and credible website sportsworldGhana.com on Wednesday the eye for goal striker said he took the right decision signing for Asec despite several clubs in the Ghanaian Premier League expressing interest to secure his signature.

Toure however promised the fans of his new club more goals to make them happy in the ongoing Ivory Coast League 1.
”I’m happy to join Asec Mimosas and I look forward to proving a point there to make me a better player” Toure tells sportsworldGhana.com in an exclusive interview.
He continued ”I’m praying that I will be able to do something better with Asec during my stay at the club and also to do something better this season in both the League and the CAF champion league.”
”Ahmed Toure is for Goal and that is what I hope to establish at Asec Mimosas and score more goals to make the fans happy”.
The former goal king, who scored 13 goals in 26 appearances for Bechem United in the just-ended season in the Ghana Premier League.
He replaces Burkinabe striker Hervé Oussalé who had his contract terminated weeks ago.
He is expected to partner former WAFA striker Komlan Agbeniadan, and Burkina star Aristide Bance up front.
