Asante Kotoko SC defender, Ismael Abdul Ganiu has expressed his desire and readiness to renew his contract with the club to continue his development.
The Black Stars center-back in an exclusive interview with SportsworldGhana.com, stated that he would love to sign a new deal with the Red and Whites outfit.
“I am ready to play here and for that matter I am prepared to extend my stay at the club to continue serving because I am at Kotoko to provide services to the great Porcupine family”, he said.
The stalwart defender also acknowledged the fact that, the club and his management are solely responsible for a possible renewal of his contract and he will not hesitate to put pen to paper anytime there’s an agreement between both parties.
“I remain a servant of Asante Kotoko and therefore I am waiting for an agreement to be reached between my representatives and the club and when the agreement is reached I will be more than happy to sign and continue to serve the team”, he added.
Ganiu has been a pivot at the back of défense for the Kumasi-based team and his contract at the club is getting closer to its expiration and would be a great loss if agreement is not reached by both parties.
Ganiu is full Ghana International after playing in the AFCON qualifiers games against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
