The Japanese striker has explained the reason behind his decision to move to the Ghanaian top-flight league.
Jindo,25, has signed a one-year contract with Ghana Premier League side, Ebusua Dwarfs.
This was confirmed by the Cape Coast-based side on Tuesday, March 09, 2021.
He will become the first-ever Japanese to play in the Ghana Premier League when he features for the club in the second round of the 2020/21 season.
Speaking in a brief interview with SPORTSworldGhana.com, Jindo said money isn’t a major factor in his decision to sign for Dwarfs, stating he wants to build a very positive relationship between Ghana and Japan through football.
“I’m not here for money but to build a positive relationship between Ghana and Japan”- Jindo Morishita told SPORTSworldGhana.com on Thursday.
Morishita has some experience of football in the African continent after playing for Zambian side, Maestro United Zambia (MUZA) in 2019.
