English Championship outfit Middlesbrough have penciled down Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu as a potential signing in the January 2021 transfer window.
The former FC Porto star has been frozen out of the Newcastle first team despite having six months left on his contract and the club are ready to sell him in January.
SPORTSworldGhana.com can exclusively reveal that “Boro” boss Neil Warnock is considering Atsu as his second option if he fails to land Everton’s Congolese winger Yannick Bolasie.
Newcastle have already stated that they will not put any impediments on the way of Atsu should any deal come and he could go for a fee around 1 Million Pounds.
Nottingham Forest and Watford are also monitoring his situation and could swoop for him.
