English national league side Notts County have given striker Elisha Sam a new one-year deal.
The 24-year-old centre-forward joined the second oldest professional football club in the world in July last year on a free transfer and managed to score thrice in 26 games.
With Notts County failing to gain promotion to the League 2 via the playoff, the club has kept faith in him and handed him a new deal as they believe he will be useful to their course.
Sam who was born in the city of Antwerp to a Ghanaian father and Belgian mother previously played for Standard Liege, FC Eindhoven, Arda Kardzhali and a host of other clubs.
