RANGERS FC manager Steven Gerrard, is targeting a summer move for Ghanaian teen right-back Denis Gyamfi from English side Leicester City, SportsworldGhana.com can exclusively report.
The Light Blues faces stiff competition to land the 18-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of this month.
Euro big guns including Man United, Arsenal and Feyenoord have all been linked with the youngster.

According to the Daily Record, Gerrard has been tracking the youngster for the last 18 months and hopes to persuade him to make a move to Ibrox Stadium this summer.
Gyamfi is yet to make a senior appearance for the Foxes and he’s behind the likes of Ricardo Pereira, James Justin and Daniel Amartey in the pecking order.
And Gerrard hopes the chance of playing first-team football at Ibrox could convince Gyamfi to join Bassey in Scotland.

Following the exit of Jon Flanagan, Rangers are in the market for another right-back to challenge skipper James Tavernier – and Gyamfi fits the bill.
Gyamfi is out of contract at the end of June and Steven Gerrard’s side are prepared to swoop.
