Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah could be heading to Sampdoria in the January transfer window with Claudio Ranieri in need of a left-footed lateral defender.
The “Il Doria” boss is said to be in need of an experienced left back as Vasco Regini and others have failed to impress him so far this season.
Asamoah is still without a club since being released by Inter Milan two months ago through mutual agreement.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that Asamoah’s agent Federico Pastorello who sent Adrien Silva, Antonio Candreva and Keita Blade to Sampdoria during the last transfer has started talks with the top hierarchy of the club on the Ghanaian and he could sign in January.
He is also on the radar of MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps as well as Turkish outfit Fernerbahce.
