Scottish giants Celtic are interested in signing Ghanaian goalkeeper Joseph Anang on loan from West Ham, SPORTSworldGhana.com can exclusively report.
The “Hops” are in the market looking for a goalkeeper to compete for the number one spot with Foster Fraser after they lost Craig Gordon to Hearts of Midlothian.
SPORTS WORLD GHANA can reveal that Celtic are keen on having Joseph Anang on a one-year loan from the “Hammers” and an official approach has been made.
Anang, 20, kept eight clean sheets and conceded eighteen goals in seventeen games for the West Ham Under 23 in the Premier League 2.
Despite training with the first team this summer, the young goalkeeper is still ranked below Lukasz Fabianski and Darren Randolphin the pecking order.
He has just one year left on his West Ham contract and would be offered a fresh deal after which he will be sent on loan.
