Scottish Premiership giants Glasgow Rangers are on the heels of Dutch-born Ghanaian teenager Jed Abbey.
The right-back had a remarkable season with Wolverhampton Wanderers making 33 appearances for the under 18 side in all competitions scoring five goals and providing five assists but was released this summer.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that the “Teddy Bears” are in the market looking for a young quality right-back and have turned their attention to Abbey.
Initially, Rangers were looking at Dennis Gyamfi but the player is currently in Belgium training with Cercle Brugge making them to switch attention to Abbey.
Born to Ghanaian parents in Amsterdam, Abbey grew up in England and is eligible to play for all three countries.
