Spanish Laliga side Real Valladolid have tabled an offer for Ghanaian youth defender David Darko of Tema City FC, SPORTSworldGhana.com can report exclusively.
The Spanish side are currently in talks with the Ghanaian lower-tier side for the signature of the 19-year-old left-footed central defender as a possible replacement for Mohammed Salisu who left the club to join English Premier League side Southampton FC this summer.
“Skanker” as he is popularly called by his teammates, was set to join Exetramadura UD in December last year but the deal broke down due to TMS issue.
The Pucela lads believe the left-footed centre-back, would be a perfect replacement for Mohammed Salisu and are eager to sign the budding defender before the summer transfer window ends.
