Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban is expected to join French Ligue 1 side St. Etienne in the coming weeks.
The gangling striker has one more year left on his existing Trabzonspor contract but he is bent on leaving as he seeks a new challenge.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that Trabzonspor were initially reluctant to release Ekuban as they wanted 7 Million Euros but after a careful thought and considering the player’s desire to join Sr. Etienne they are ready to accept the 5 Million Euros offered by the French club.
Ekuban joined Trabzonspor in the 2019-2020 season from Leeds for a transfer fee of 1 million euros and has played 103 matches with the burgundy blue club scoring 29 goals and providing 18 assists.
