Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC will entertain Berekum Chelsea FC at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi next week in the quarter-finals of the 2020-21 MTN FA CUP Competition.

The Porcupine Warriors are keen to win silverware this season after missing out on the league title to arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak SC.

Kotoko are currently nine-time champions of the competition and could equal Hearts’ record as the team with mist FA Cup trophies if they win this year’s edition.

Kotoko beat Asokwa Deportivo SC 2-1 in the round 16 stage at in Obuasi and will host Chelsea at the same venue in the last eight stage to have a hope of making it to the last four.

Chelsea eliminated Division One League Zone One team, Kintampo FC on the road in their last outing in the competition and are expected to give Kotoko a tougher encounter for a place in the semi-final.
