Asante Kotoko’s Brazilian forward Fabio Gama has disclosed that he’s open to representing Ghana in the future should the opportunity avails itself.
Gama has been a standout performer at Kotoko so far this season, helping them to top the Ghana Premier League table as they chase the title, Kotoko’s 24th GPL title dream.
The Brazilian international joined the Porcupine Warriors on a free and his performance on the pitch has made him one of the top performers in the Ghana Premier League.
Gama has bagged two goals and assisted 3 times in his maiden season in Ghana’s top flight.
There were initial fears that he would struggle to adapt but the player has silenced all critics off such suggestions or claims to become a star attraction boy for Kotoko in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Quizzed in an interview on Pure FM about whether he would consider switching nationality to play for Ghana, the 28-year-old answered.
“why not eh… (but) it’s not an easy decision to make. you have to talk with you family. I can’t say No and I can’t say yes right now.
“It’s a decision that you have to think about very well,” he added.
