Ghana international, Eric Ayiah says Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder, Fabio Gama has done well to prove his critics wrong since signing for the Porcupine Warriors.
The Brazilian joined the Kotoko in October last year for the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League and has been a spark to the Kotoko team since making his debut.
Known for his cleverness on the field, the 28-year-old has dazzled in league drawing plaudits from many football fans including fans from other Premier League clubs.
Ayiah, who is also a Kotoko fan believes the player deserves every bit of praise, adding that he has proven his critics wrong.
“When he arrived in Ghana, there were a lot of doubts about his abilities and his physique to adapt to the Ghanaian league,” the former Ghana U17 captain told sportsworldghana.com.
“But he has been the back-bone of the Kotoko team and he has got them playing so well.”
The 21-year-old also revealed he likes Gama so much and has grown to believe in him since the first game he watched him play for the Porcupine Warriors.
“I have watched him very well and I believe in him so much. I will rate between 95 to 98 percent because he is really a good footballer,” Ayiah concluded.
Fabio Gama has directly been involved in 11 goals for Kotoko this season, scoring five and providing a further six assists.
