Black Queens center back Faustina Ampah bagged another league title with Belarus giants FC Minsk with two more games to spare in the 2018 Belarus Women’s League.
The stalwart defender enjoyed another successful season in the league race helping her side to sprint past its competitors with ease.
With 19 matches played so far in the league, FC Minsk lost a game to Zorka BDU and won the remaining 18 games with 2 more to wrap up the season. FC Minsk boasts of a resounding 54 points – 9 points clear off second placed RGOUR and Zorka BDU in third place with 41 points.
The league victory means FC Minsk will represent Belarus in the 2019-20 UEFA Women’s Champions League season.
Faustina Ampah scored three goals in the 2018 Belarus Women’s League and has three more in the Baltic League and the Belarus Women’s Cup.
FC Minsk is also contending for the 2018 Baltic League title and the 2018 Belarus Women’s Cup title.
Faustina Ampah started all game for the Black Queens in their 2018 WAFU Cup triumph and will be a key figure as Ghana prepares to host the 2018 African Women’s Championship from November 17 to December 1.
