FC Botosani boss Marius Croitiru has pointed out that German-born Ghanaian winger is on his way out of the club.

SPORTSworldGhana.com broke the news earlier this week that Turkish club Konyaspor have made an offer for the 29-year-old forward and now his club manager has now established that he will be released.

“Ofosu is a loss because he is the player in whom I had high hopes from the moment he came. He did his duty for this team, that’s why we decided to let him go, because that was our understanding.” Coitoru told the Romanian Press

“Before signing him, the agreement was that if he plays very and any team comes with a suitable offer, he will move.”

“We have to take into account that he was in the last six months of his contract and then it is a very good amount for Botoşani.” He added.

Konyaspor’s bid for Ofosu per Sportsworldghana.com checks was around 500,000 Euros. He is expected to have his medicals in Turkey in the coming days.
