FC Orenburg forward Joel Fameyeh was given his maiden appearance in the Black Stars team on Tuesday in the game against Morocco.
Fameyeh was named among the starting eleven for the friendly game having earned a deserving call up for his good showings in Russia.
The forward was part of the attacking trio together with Samuel Owusu and Jordan Ayew, operating as the left-winger on the night.
The former Asokwa Deportivo star-man looked lively from the first blast of the whistle till the time he had to be replaced captain Andre Ayew.
In the first 45 minutes of the game, Fameyeh should have found the back of the net when he met a cross from Andy Yiadom in the 18-yard box but his effort did little to trouble the Morocco shot-stopper.
The player will be hoping to get another chance to prove his readiness for the national team when Ghana play host to Ivory Coast in another friendly game on Saturday.
