John Obi Mikel is one of the top football stars who hailed from Nigeria. He is widely celebrated for his success and efforts with the national team. The star is known for his defensive brilliance for multiple teams all over the world.

Mikel started out as one of the best youngsters when he played for Lyn at the age of 17 in 2004. He soon made a big transfer to the English club Chelsea. This drew a lot of flak and was full of controversy since Manchester United already claimed that they had already signed him prior to his move.

Just like how a Bitcoin casino and King Kaka partnership is making waves today, Mikel and Chelsea were a perfect match. The star stayed there for 11 years and was a big hit with the club. That earned him a reputation for being one of the best defenders in the game.

In 249 games with Chelsea, Mikel has scored only one goal which is quite a good note for him despite being a defensive star. While he isn’t a scorer, the Nigeria international shows that he belongs to the upper echelon of the game thanks to his defensive prowess. He is known for his strong talent and skill in working with a lot of wing defenders.

Mikel as an impact player

Mikel is one of the most dedicated players in the game and is known for his special talent in cutting off passes in transition. His big plays made him a popular icon who has been able to show the world that he is a star to remember.

Despite being a defensive-focused star, Mikel still managed to impress Jose Mourinho, who was the head coach for Chelsea that time. He trained with the first team in the summer of 2004 and showed his talents were more of a team impact.

This only shows that Mikel is able to prove that he deserves a lot of praise for his talents. His long stint with Chelsea was a proof of that since he showed his worth by keeping a defensive mindset for the team.

Mikel’s success defined the true meaning of defence. He was a better player who set the standard for Chelsea’s defensive midfielder. This only proves that the star can bring a bigger change in the sport by raising the bar with his hustle and effort on both ends of the pitch.

This is why Mikel is a key player on the pitch. Having him there is a huge advantage, which only shows his invaluable experience both as a star and a key defender at the same time.

Mikel’s experience makes him reliable

Mikel is one of the most experienced players in the sport. At the age of 34, he still deserves a chance to become one of the best players in any team. He may be underrated at some point, but he can still pack a punch and help a certain team get a strong pace and win a title.

While he is still a free agent, any club that would sign him will surely get a big win on the defensive end. They have a bright mind in Mikel and a strong defender at the same time. Having a player provide veteran mentorship to help young players improve their game is a huge plus.

Just like how Bitcoin casino and King Kaka are a perfect fit, it cannot be denied that Mikel would fit in well with a team that needs his services. This shows a lot of promise that the former Kuwait Sporting Club star can bring to the table for any team in the future.

Mikel is now one of the most famous names in Nigerian football mostly thanks to his play style. There are only a few players in the league who would dare to take a focus on defending since it is a much taller task in football than attacking the goal. He showed the world that he is a once in a generation player who deserves so much praise.
