The Black Stars are currently ranked fifth in Africa for the month of October in the latest world ranking released by FIFA on Thursday.
Avram Grant’s side is also ranked as 45th best team in the world.
The Black Stars dropped two places down on the continent as the fifth best country behind defending champions Cote d’ivoire (31st).
Algeria, Senegal and Tunisia follow (35th), (37th) and (38th) respectively.
In the World ranking in totality, Ghana is placed 45th and the dip can be as a result of the 0-0 draw with Uganda Cranes at the Tamale Stadium in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers as well as an international friendly with South Africa which ended 1-1 in Durban.
Germany and Brazil have moved into second and third spots respectively with Argentina leading the pack with 156 points.
