Black Princesses Coach Yusif Basigi says he’s satisfied with his final selection for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup which will be staged in France.
The former Black Queens trainer named his final 21 for the tourney after thoroughly assessing his players in camp.
Defender Pearl Boamah and Barikisu Alhassan failed to make the final cut for the competition.
Ernestina Abambila, Sandra Owusu-Ansah and Philicity Asuako are however some of the key players of the squad, and are expected to be at the top of their game for the team to go a step further.
But Basigi insists his final 21 are good enough to face big task ahead of them in France.
“I assessed the players very well and made the final selection, I think the final 21 have really justified themselves in camp all this while,” he told pressmen.
“It doesn’t mean the two dropped are not good players but obviously we can’t take everyone to the World Cup.
“I am very confident in the team I have selection for the World Cup and I know they will deliver.
