Former Ghana youth star Benjamin Tetteh has been handed his maiden Black Stars call-up by head coach Milovan Rajevac for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Turkey-based striker has been in a fine form for his club Yeni Malatyaspor this season in the Turkish Super Lig.
The 24-year-old former Sparta Prague hitman was the starman for Ghana’s Black Starlets as he scored 5 goals in 9 matches.
He also bagged two goals in nine appearances for the Ghana U20 team and also played for the U23, the Black Meteors.
He has scored three goals with one assist in six matches in the Turkish Super Lig this season leading to his call-up for the first time ever.
Tetteh could feature and make his debut for the Stars against Warriors of Zimbabwe next month under new coach Milovan Rajevac.
