Black Stars face Warriors of Zimbabwe this afternoon at the Cape Coast stadium in bid to get their world cup qualification hopes with win over the South African country.
The four-time AFCON champions are in search of their second win of the qualifiers after losing one and winning one in their opening two games.
Ghana beat Ethiopia 1-0 through a thunderbolt by midfielder, Mubarak Wakaso in the first game at same venue where they will be hosting the Yellow and Greens.
Despite their first win over the Ethiopians, Ghana succumbed to the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Johannesburg which led to the sacking of head coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor.
Zimbabwe, Ghana’s today’s opponent on the other handheld South Africa to a goalless draw in their first match but defeat to Ethiopia left then bottom of the table with a point after two games.
The two teams will square off at the Cape Coast stadium at 4pm.
