Ghanaian coach Fiifi Parker Hanson has expressed openness to joining Accra Hearts of Oak, but insists the decision will be based on mutual understanding and working conditions that align with his professional values.
Speaking in an interview with Akoma 87.9 FM, Hanson addressed rumours of a possible move to the Phobians and made it clear that while he respects the club’s stature, any potential deal must make sense for both sides.
“Hearts of Oak is a team, but has its own style of operation. If they come to seek my services, I will gladly join them only if the negotiations between us go well.”
Hanson emphasized that his relationship with newly appointed Hearts coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, with whom he previously worked at Right to Dream Academy, could ease his adaptation and even help elevate his coaching career.
“I’ve known Didi Dramani for a long time, we worked together at Right to Dream Academy, so working under him at Hearts of Oak won’t be a difficult task. In fact, it will help my career.”
However, the experienced coach was quick to add that familiarity alone isn’t enough to seal a move.
“That doesn’t mean that I will still go to Hearts if my ethics don’t align with theirs. If they do, there won’t be any issues.”
Hanson stressed that he is open to working with any club, but only in an environment where professionalism, respect, and good working culture are upheld.
“I will evaluate their method of doing things if it suits mine, but I will not force myself if the working atmosphere is not pleasant for me.”
