Algeria Ligue 1 side, USM Alger have finally confirmed the signing of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC striker Kwame Opoku on a four and a half years contract.
According to the information available to Sportsworldghana, the 21-year-old striker was sold by the Porcupines to Algerian giants for a fee of $350,000 and would be paid $15, 000 as monthly wages.
The club tweeted: ”The management of the USMA informs its dear supporters that an agreement has been reached with Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko SC for the final transfer of striker Kwame Opoku who will sign up for four and a half years.”
The now-former player of Asante Kotoko has been named in Ghana’s home-based squad preparing for the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and São Tomé and Principe.
