Ghanaian forward Kamaldeen Sulemana says football can be very hard sometimes after struggling for end product at Southampton at the start to life in the English Premier League.

The youngster admitted that the game is sometimes difficult after his team suffered relegation from the English Premier League to the Championship.

According to him, the team has faced a difficult situation which is the hardest he’s faced which resulted in the going down of the club to the English second tier.

He added: “I would say that football can be very hard sometimes, especially with the situation we’ve been in – it’s been the hardest”, he told Daily Echo.

“When I came here that is what I wanted to do – set up goals and score to help the team to get results. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do it but I got my goal.”

“There’s a feeling of, why didn’t it come before, why didn’t I score before? But I am glad I have made my mark on the last day and showed what I can do on the good days.”

Kamaldeen Sulemana scored two goals in the 2022-23 English Premier League for the relegated Southampton side.
