Former Ghana international Ibrahim Sunday has been appointed by the Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee to serve on the newly constituted Black Stars management committee ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt in June.
Ibrahim Sunday, who won the 1978 African footballer of the year award as been put on the committee following his vast knowledge in the game.
The committee which will headed by Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) boss Dr. KK Sarpong has the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Perry Okudzeto Ablakwah as vice chairman.
Francis Asenso-Boakye and Madam Abena Osei Asare, a Member of Parliament for Atiwa East are the other members on the committee.
The committee has been tasked to supervise the activities of the Black Stars, and collaborate with the technical team to facilitate all arrangements to ensure the team gets the best of preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
