Ghanaian top-flight side Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC former striker, Songne Yacouba was on target for Young Africans SC in the Tanzanian Premier League on Wednesday afternoon.
The 28-year-old Burkinabe star scored his team’s second goal in their 3-0 mauling of Ihefu FC away from home to remain top of the league after 17 matches with 43 points.
Yanga SC In-form striker Deus Kaseke broke the deadlock of the match to put the away team in the lead on 12th minute as the opening half ended with just one goal in it.
Four minutes from the break, the Green and Yellows doubled their advantage when former Asante Kotoko hitman Songne Yacouba scored on the 49th minute to put the visitors in a two goals lead.
Feisal Abdallah made the points safe and put the game beyond the reach of the hosts who he netted the third goal to make it 3-0 on the hour mark.
Yacouba has scored five goals with three assists in the Tanzanian Premier League this season for Young Africans SC.
