Former Atletico Madrid midfielder Benjamin Akoto Asamoah scored twice for Doxa Katokopia in the Cyprus top-flight on Friday evening in their emphatic 5-0 victory over Karmiotissa Pano.
The Ghanaian playmaker scored on the 43rd minute of the action to put his team in a 3-0 lead after Berat Sadik scored on the 5th and 34th minutes respectively.
The striker, Berat Sadik grabbed his hat-trick a minute to the end of the first half to make it a resounding 4-0 lead at the interval.
Eleven minutes back from the break, Asamoah notched his second goal of the match to bag his first brace this season for the Green, Yellow and Whites side in the Cyprus Premier League 25 games.
The 27-year-old played 60 minutes before he went off and had scored three goals and provided three assists in the league this season for Doxa Katokopia.
