Former Dreams FC attacker Zuberu Sharani netted his second goal of the season for Zemplin Michalovce in the Slovakia Fortuna Liga on Saturday afternoon against FC Nitra.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian attacker was among the goal scorers as his side secured a vital win to stay in the top-flight of Slovakia football for the next season with a crucial 4-0 on the final day.
Matej Trusa and Takuto Oshima scored a goal each in the first 45 minutes of the match to put the away team in a commanding 2-0 at the break with a 31st and a 45th minute strikes respectively.
Sharani made the score line 3-0 to Zemplin Michalovce seven minutes after the break before Dimitriov Popovits added the icing on the cake goal inside 69 minutes to make it 4-0 at the end of the 90 minutes of football action away at Nitra.
FK Senica lost 4-1 away at SKF Sered which helped Zuberu and his team to leapfrog Senica to secure top-flight football next season as Senica are left behind to context in the relegation playoffs.
Zuberu, 21 suffered injuries after his move to Zemplin but has played in their last nine games scoring two goals with one assist to help his side secure top-flight status at the end of the season.
