Ghanaian trio Henry Addo, Richmond Owusu and Abasa Aremeyaw were all in action for Slovakia club MŠK Žilina in their U19s UEFA Youth League win against Kairat FC on Wednesday night.
The Ghanaian youngsters started the game and were impressive throughout the full duration with former Ebony FC star Addo producing two fine assists for his team.
Timotej Jambor opened the scoring for MŠK Žilina in the 34th-minute mark of the match before Dominik Snajder doubled the lead two minutes later.
However, Abasa Aremeyaw scored an own goal in the 42nd minute to give Kairat 2-1 consolation goal before halftime.
Back from recess, Timotej Jambor struck again in the 64th minute to give the hosts a 3-1 lead but Yan Trufranov hit the back of the net in the 79th minute to reduce Kairat’s deficit to 3-2 after the full duration of the game.
Henry Addo has so far netted one goal and also registered two assists for MŠK Žilina in the two games he has played for in the UEFA YoutH League.
