Former Ghana international Hans Adu Sarpei has criticized his ex-club Schalke 04 after their relegation from the German top-flight.
Sarpei who played for the “Royal Blues” from 2010 to 2012 making seventeen appearances before he retired from football emphasized that the club lacks direction and that has caused their drop from the Bundesliga.
“If you look at the team and the club, you notice that a lot is broken,” Sarpei told SID.
“We as a club have no structure, no common ground, no values, where we say that’s what we stand for. ” He added.
Schalke are at the bottom of the German Bundesliga with just 13 points from 30 games and have been officially relegated.
