Former AshGold captain Eric Opoku has joined Kuwaiti Viva League on a two-year contract with title contenders Al Nasr on a free transfer.
He was 2014/15 Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player.
Opoku, 27, thus joins former Heart of Lions defender Emmanuel Teyehugmeh at the club.
Though Ashanti Gold SC wanted to renew the former Captain’s contract, reports say he opted for a move outside Ghana.
