Kofi Kordzi may have scored eight goals across all competitions for Hearts of Oak this season but the club’s top scorer is currently out of favor at the club.

Head coach Samuel Boadu for the fourth consecutive match dropped Kordzi from Hearts of Oak starting line up against Asante Kotoko last Sunday during the Super Clash.

Former head coach of the club Kim Grant has spoken about Boadu’s decision not to start his best striker in the biggest match of the season .

OUT OF FAVOR : What is the future of Kofi Kordzi at Hearts of Oak ?

“I was a bit surprised Kordzi was on the bench. He is the top scorer of the club and normally you need to go into the game with your top scorers” he told ADEPA TV.

“But overall I think Boadu got his tactics right. He went for high pressing, go for long balls and Kotoko were lucky to end the first half goalless.

But I think In the second round Ogum reorganized , made it more solid and also went for some high pressing.” he added.
