Former Accra Hearts of Oak star player, Joseph Esso grabbed his third league goal of the season for Mouloudia Club d’alger in the Algeria Ligue 1 on Monday evening.
The former Dreams FC kingpin netted his team’s first goal of their emphatic win over CA Bordj Bou Arreridj to move to the fifth spot on the league table after 35 matches with three to go.
80 seconds after Kickoff, Esso found the back of the net for the home team to hand them a perfect start to the game on their home turf.
Abdelhak Abdelhafid scored twice in a space of four minutes to give the home team a breathing space with his goals on 51st and 55th minutes respectively.
The game finished 3-0 to the Green and Reds.
The 24-year-old Black Stars striker has three goals and two assists in the Algeria Ligue 1 this season for MC Alger after joining from Dreams FC.
