Former Accra Hearts of Oak SC striker Sadat Karim has been named in the Sweden Allsvenskan after a sizzling performance over the weekend.
He scored for Halmstads BK in the Swedes top-flight on Saturday evening against BK Hacken.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian forward scored his team’s second goal in their 3-2 win on the road to move out of the relegation zone with 26 points.
His goal was an equalizer for the Blue and Whites outfit after 58 minutes with a beautiful header from close range to make it 2-2 before the hour mark.
Sadat Karim also provided assist for Emil Tot Wikström to score the winner for the away team 10 minutes from full time and also played the entire duration of the match.
Halmstads went ahead to beat Hacken 3-2 later on in the game.
The former Phobian forward has found the back of the net five times in 24 matches in the Sweden Allsvenskan and has got one assist to his credit.
