According to him, they shouldn’t sack the CEO because they think he is disrespectful.
“Why should they sack Nana Yaw Amponsah, what has he done ?”.he quizzed in an interview with Fox FM in Kumasi.
“He is not disrespectful as people claim”.
“I want the Board and the Management to sit down and find solutions to Kotoko problems”, he said.
He further stated that, the club shouldn’t blame the young Chief Executive Officer for their woes this campaign both domestic and in Africa.
“We cannot blame Nana Yaw Amponsah for what happened at Sudan, if Kotoko went to Sudan with even 30 players, still it would have happened because Al Hilal plotted that”.
Asante Kotoko SC exited the CAF Champions League playoffs against El Hilal of Sudan and will battle Algerian team ES Setif for a place in the Confederation Cup group stage.
