Former WAFA striker Prince Obeng Ampem scored the only consolation goal for HNK Šibenik who were whipped 3-1 by HNK Gorica in the Croatian First Football League on Friday.
The Ghanaian international struck just after 7 minutes into the game to give the home team 1-0 lead at the at Stadion Šubićevac after break.
However, HNK Gorica, after recess looked the better side as they registered three goals to hand Šibenik a 3-1 home defeat.
Marijan Cabranga pulled parity for the visitors in the 62nd minute after failing to unlock the hosts’ defence in the first forty-five minutes of the game.
Joey Suk scored in the 82nd minute to give the visiting team a 2-1 lead before Kristjan Lovric wrapped up a 3-1 victory for his side with a late stoppage-time goal.
Šibenik currently sit on sixth position on the log with 13 points in twelve games.
