Ghanaian midfielder Augustine Boakye made his Austrian Bundesliga bow on Sunday for Wolfsberger AC as they walloped Rapid Vienna by four goals to one at the Lavanttal Arena.
The budding Ghanaian youngster replaced Thorsten Rocher in the 84th minute as his side cruised to an emphatic win.
Boakye who was signed from Ghanaian outfit WAFA in the summer of 2021 has been in fine form for the second team of Wolsberger scoring three goals in four Regionalliga games and he has now been rewarded with a place in the senior team.
Wolsberger are currently second on the Austrian Bundesliga League log with 24 points from fourteen games.
