Former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate Forson Amankwah was on target for FC Liefering on Sunday against Rapid Wien on Sunday afternoon.
The youngster also provided an assist in FC Liefering’s comfortable 6-2 at home in the Austrian Division One League to go 2nd on the league table with 14 points from seven matches.
The 18-year-old versatile Ghanaian footballer scored the second goal of the game on the 22nd minute mark to make it 2-0 after Luka Reischl got the opening goal three minutes earlier.
He also set up Nene Dorgeles after 51 minutes to score the games 6th goal and the hosts 5th in their 6-2 drubbing of the second team of Rapid Wien.
Amankwah joined Liefering from Austria giant Red Bull Salzburg on loan after joining from WAFA in February this year.
