Ghanaian youngster Francis Amuzu has mentioned the reasons which made him to sign new contract with Anderlecht.
The talented winger had just one-year left on his Anderlecht deal but he extended it by three more years on Thursday.
The 20-year-old had attracted interest from a host of English Premiership teams including Newcastle but he has outlined why he chose to stay at Anderlecht.
““I started at RSCA in U16 when I was 15 years old. Each season I have been a champion and I hope this will be the case this season with the first team. I am very pleased to extend my contract until 2024. It is a mark of confidence, “Amuzu stated after appending his signature to the deal.
Amuzu has made 67 appearance for the Anderlecht first team scoring five goals and providing six assists since 2018.
