AshantiGold SC defender, Frank Akoto had issued a come and get me plea to Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu after admitting he would like to work with the coach.
The defender was impressive for Ashgold during the 2020/21 season as his side finished the campaign ninth on the league table while also ending up as MTN FA Cup finalist.
Akoto’s side were beaten by Hearts of Oak on penalties in the finals of the cup competition but that has bot stopped the player from admitting his admiration for the former Medeama Sporting Club gaffer.
“Coach Samuel Boadu is a good coach and everyone will like to work with him, I pray to work with him someday at the national team,” Frank Akoto told Otec 102.9 FM.
The player also explained that Boadu is destined to lead the Black Stars team should he continue to with the Rainbow club.
He added: “He will one day head the Black Stars if he continues with his good job.
