Fred Pappoe: Great Olympics chief reveals he’s more than ready to contest for FA Presidency

Former GFA vice president and a board member for Accra Great Olympics, Fred Pappoe, have declared his intentions to contest for the FA presidency in 2019.

Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi who is the current of the seat declared publicly that he wouldn’t to contest in 2019 after serving for 14 years.

Pappoe who was an integral member of the Black Stars maiden World Cup in Germany 2006, has since remained tight –lipped in contesting for position. However, the former GFA vice capo speaking with Summer of Angel Fm confirmed that he will join Names like: Kurt Okraku, George Afriyie and Mr., Kudjo Fiano who has long being tipped for the position which will be vacant in 2019.

”Yeah it’s fairly possible if am being frank with you, it’s very possible at the right time I will start campaigning.’’

”For now whatever it is in football, is no secret because people know it, but there is no need for me to have offenses now.  If I make my decisions, I will tell myself. ”He continued

”It’s highly possible but there is a lot of things which we are learning from and takes a whole discussion, but you will also appreciate that, there  are certain factors which are internal that we caused it and there are other external factors but we are learning from it just that we haven’t finished”. He concluded.
