The 11th round of the French Ligue 1 has played out. Rennes, who have Ghanaian national team player Kamal Sulemana playing for them, hosted Strasbourg at their Roazhon Park stadium and secured a minimal 1-0 victory in one of the games.
Rennes have been showing decent football this season and are in contention for European competitions.
That’s why the bookmaker LV BET, whose review can be found at https://bookmaker-ratings.com/review/lv-bet-bookmaker-review-rules-support-sign-up-free-bets-site/, regarded the Red and Black as favorites to win the game against Strasbourg and gave them a 58% probability of victory.
An additional intrigue was the fact that Strasbourg coach Julien Stéphane was at the helm of Rennes a year ago.
The hosts pinned down Stéphane’s team from the opening minutes, hitting Strasbourg’s goal 14 times throughout the match, but the only goal came at the 82nd minute after Naif Aguerd’s kick.
Minutes after that, Rennes head coach Bruno Génésio replaced Sulemana with 18-year-old striker Loum Tchaouna.
